Galactic S
It is a video game for PC, where we will put in front of a spaceship in which we must try to cross through intricate paths full of traps, activate suiches and mechanisms to access new routes in order to find the exit of the labyrinth.
The game is a mix between the categories of dungeons and space arcade, and this is why we will have some levels where it deprives the speed and destruction of targets and others where solving the puzzles of mechanisms is paramount to pass the map.
At the moment it is in alpha phase, that is, it is not finished. Basically, we are making the history of the game, to give it a practical sense when passing the levels. We decided to take this alpha phase to test the mechanisms of movement, drag and destruction of objects, as well as get feedback from players who provide us with ideas.

Galactic S Characters
Some of the characters so far in the game are:
| Spaceship Spacecraft that you must drive through the maze to find the exit. You can tow objects, collide them to move or destroy them. |
| Patrol ship This ship is inside the labyrinth guarding treasures and will try to prevent you from leaving the labyrinth. They have a field of vision in the style of Metal Gear or Commandos. |
| Asteroids You can destroy it or drag it to activate mechanisms and suiches. There are only three types: ice, rock and metal. |
| Turrets The strategically placed turrets will tell us if we are in their range of action. So you have to be very careful with them. |
We are not using any external game engine, but our own ZancuGraf, which works with GDI + and OpenGL graphic libraries and for audio only uses the OpenAL.
This engine is the one that performs animations, graphic effects, advanced physics of objects as well as mixing, decompression of sounds and streaming of music.
We are really having a lot of fun with this project and we hope you like it too.
The game is packaged so that it is possible to run it without installing it. Although it is recommended for convenience to execute the installation, it will leave everything ready for execution. ; )
