Course Practical example with Cinema 4D: Wipe

CURS-14

With this course we will create a promotional piece. We will cement our work with the development of an initial briefing, with ideas through a simple storyboar. We will also see how the work done with Cinema 4D is seamlessly integrated into After Effects.

Course Practical example with Cinema 4D: Action curtain

With this course we will create a promotional piece or curtain. We will cement our work with the development of an initial briefing that will set the guidelines to follow, embodying these ideas through a simple storyboard with which we will make a first approximation to the timing of the piece, which we will see how to transform it into an animatics. After preproduction and with Cinema 4D as the main tool, we will develop all the necessary elements, and with the optimal workflows we will create what we have previously imagined. We will see how the work done with Cinema 4D integrates seamlessly into After Effects, where we will make the final composition as well as the soundtrack of the piece.

Introduction to the TV Action Wipe course

In this chapter we will explain the objectives of the course, making a short tour of the main milestones of the course. We will also see who is targeted and what will be the final result we will obtain after completing it.

Preproduction, prior to the realization of the curtain

In this chapter we will lay the foundations, both conceptual and stylistic of our production, discovering the fundamental aspects of our production and knowing everything that helps us to correctly develop our project.

Hold a creative briefing 02:51

First sketches: the storyboard or storyboard 03:46

Bring storyboard to life: The animatic 06:17

Modeling: creation of props

In this chapter we will learn different modeling techniques with which to build all the resources that we need for the creation of our piece, preparing them for further animation.

Animation: giving life to our models

In this chapter we will learn how to give life to all previously created elements, discovering the tricks that allow us to create a fluid and sympathetic animation that favors our piece.

Defining the workspace of our project 05:23

Animation of cup entrance 08:15

Appearance of the gun in the scene 06:58

Bloody tread with the bend mod 08:23

Animate the police plaque through dynamics 07:57

Lighting and materials: defining the visual aspect

In this chapter we will learn the main secrets of the sketch and toon style, giving our work a visual style close to cell shading, or what is the same, we will simulate a traditional animation style or cartoon.

Sketch and toon style 07:50

Initial lighting, first materials 08:17
