Hello that, today I bring some of the things that talk less on the Internet and the few articles explain it incompletely. So, without talking more chitchat, I explain:
What is the key Light on the board.
The key light, is not more than the notification that the computer makes to the driver, so that we do maintenance service to our vehicle. It is important to clarify that this maintenance is not only for the engine, but must include all parts that are subject to wear.This light switches on every 5000 km approximately and as it is not indicative of faults, it is possible to turn it off with manual actions on the dashboard or with the engine scanner. But of course! That we must perform the respective maintenance, otherwise it will be a trap. Hahaha.
It is possible to turn on for a few seconds and turn off or turn off when moving the car. This is to indicate to us that soon we must perform the service. It will remain fixed once the lapse of 5000 km is completed.
What to do when you turn on the key light on the board
Most of the procedures are for checking the state of parts, fluid levels, among others and I name them below:
Review of fluid levels and color of:
-> Brake League
-> Link of the clutch actuator (if it has hydraulic system)
-> Box oil (if the box is automatic).
-> Steering oil (if you have hydraulic power steering)
-> Windshield washer fluid.
In this procedure revision of levels it is important to complete up to the maximum mark of the element. To turn off the light of the key

2.- Press the right button of the board for a few seconds (TRIP or reset of the odometer).
3.- After a few seconds pass, without releasing the TRIP button, turn the key to the ON position (Turn on the dashboard lights), but do not start the engine.
4.- In a few seconds the maintenance light flashes and then goes off. Release the button when this happens.

3.- Turn the key to OFF position.

Me imagino que es una camioneta automatica. En ese caso que el motor no se apagó ni mostró falla en el tablero, es posible que sea un problema mecánico de la caja, turbo perferado, falta de aceite o se fue un sello de presión. Bueno, en ese caso si el icono de la llave no es inglesa (es la llave de encendido) entonces hay un problema con el transponder. Depende del clima donde estes, si pudo haber sido un problema de que todo se asienta. Calentarlo por unas horas debe resolver el problema. Ya que el motor caliente debería de aflojar/diluir aceite asentado tanto en la caja como el motor. Si esto no funciona si debes llevarlo a servicio. - Asked by Amado Martinez
