The CKP sensor is extraordinarily important in an engine, because it is the one that gives the information of the position of the cylinders, without it the computer cannot do "Nothing" and this is why, if it fails, the engine does not turn on.
One of the important questions is to be sure that it is actually this sensor the culprit that does not turn on our engine, then for this I recommend the following procedures:
When passing the switch in cars from 2000 to here, as a rule must turn on the petrol pump for a few seconds, then turn off if we do not start the engine through the switch.

Identify the negative cable of the injector: for this process we only have to connect our lamp to negative of the battery, put the switch in position on and connect the point of the lamp either of the two pins of the injector harness under test. When you turn on the lamp you mean we have our positive terminal, if you don't turn on try the other pin.
Now that we have identified our negative injector terminal in the harness, we now place our lamp on the battery positive and the tip to the negative of the injector harness under tests. We start our engine and verify that the lamp switches on by pulses. If you don't turn on the lamp we can make sure our CKP has problems.
We must remove the CKP sensor in such a way that it is connected electrically to its connector either with the help of alligators or cables or only to make it to the side so that it gives the chance to be able to pass in front of the sensor a metal piece to excite it.
We place our ignition switch in the on position, and then intermittently pass a ferrous metal piece very close to the front of the sensor. This excites the sensor and you should hear the ignition of the petrol pump, and the clicks of the injectors working. If we don't hear any of that, we have a problem associated with CKP.
A fault associated with the CKP is not always indicative that the sensor is damaged, it is possible that the cable is cut, bad posture of the connector or there are simply problems of shielding of the signal that passes through the cable due to lack of ground.
